Cranston, RI (September 9, 2024) – Gannon & Scott is excited to announce the addition of Ryan Niedzwiadek as one of the Production Supervisors.

Ryan presents a dynamic blend of practice, passion, and proficiency to the team, honed over years of dedication to the precious metals refining industry.

What began as a summer job at a precious metal refinery marked the start of his journey, where he was initially tasked with assembling shelves and painting. His interest in chemistry and natural people skills quickly drew him to the laboratory, sparking a flourishing career in refining. "Laboratory work was my bread and butter, but when I got the opportunity to work in the plant, I found a new love for refining—melting metals, digesting metals, and everything in between," Ryan shares.

Familiar with Gannon & Scott through industry connections, Ryan has seamlessly transitioned into his new role, where he looks forward to leveraging his skills and experience to benefit the team. His excitement centers around collaborating across departments, from material intake to final shipment, sample analysis, and working closely with the sales team to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Ryan's qualifications are impressive and diverse, including ICP training, statistical analysis, and sampling courses. He also holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, forklift operation, and OSHA compliance. His commitment to safety and continuous improvement aligns perfectly with Gannon & Scott's mission. "I'm excited to help the management team achieve their existing goals and introduce new ideas," says Ryan.

"Ryan’s dedication to ensuring every employee enjoys their work, achieves their goals, and prioritizes safety speaks volumes about his leadership. His understanding of teamwork and commitment to knowledge sharing will help drive our company’s vision forward.”

-Andrew McManus, VP of Operations at Gannon & Scott

Outside work, Ryan enjoys indoor rock climbing, catching the latest movies, and relaxing by a fire with reggae rock playing in the background. His advice for anyone entering the industry? “Ask questions of everyone you meet and learn as much as possible.”

We are thrilled to welcome Ryan to the Gannon & Scott team!
